D&D recap: Heavy Game

Oh sweet Jesus this was an interesting week. It all began with a tough battle with some water elementals then some bigger water elementals. The joys of being a bard meant i didn’t take any damage since i was cowering away and handing out buffs like candy. After this point it got more insane, we dock at our determined location (this is a pirate game so we are on a boat for long spaces of time) and are greeted by a few guards. Lyndwin (my gnome bard) being the talker of the group steps forth to ask what they want.

BITCH SLAP!

The guard strikes me in the face and says that slaves shouldn’t talk. This throws Lyndwin into a rage and is dragged away by Tsunami (the human Corsair) along with the painted elf Gadoron. After Lyndwin and Gadron calm down and promise our captain Bill Nye ( yes that is his name) that we shall behave and if need be, act like slaves. We enter the city and are met by a woman and her three slaves. She try’s to buy Raze (the tiefling)

How does Raze react?

By yelling “SHUT UP BITCH” and casting silence on her.

He never promised to behave.

And so the part splits, Bill Nye follows the woman to try and talk our way out of this and of course failing, running to the boat and curling into the fetal position. Gadoron cutting a man in half after they tried to grab him, then booking it back to the ship. Soren (the human thief) pick-pocketed the woman, then hid behind corners to watch the madness before returning to the ship. Lyndwin and Tsunami ran to an alleyway, disguised themselves before walking directly into two guards and a mage hunting for them. When Lyndwin realized that one of them was magic, he fascinated the crowd, letting Tsunami escape before blinding the two guards with glitterdust, getting hit by a fireball and then using hold person on the mage. He then hid in a box until Soren came to his rescue by allowing him to hide in his backpack. Tsunami changed his disguise and went to a slave house, bought a small halfling girl and returned to the ship. Raze in the mean time cut off his own horns, disguises himself as a rich human, top hat and all and finds the ore we were sent to the island to get in the first place. The party set sail away from the island, leaving Raze behind in a city hunting for him.

The session ended there to allow our DM to try and find out how to fix all the things we fucked up.
